Shoes, Child Pants, and New Car Smell

  This week we have read more of, "The Great Gatsby" and many of the people have been showing differences. We have watched part of the movie which was good to see to really see how they have changed. We have learnd a lot about the main person, Gatsby who really loves, or appears to be in love with the other main person Daisy. Daisy leads him on to believe that she is also wanting him, but really she is just messing with him, with mind tricks.
  It appears that Daisy is just wanting the wealth and doesn't care about anything else. Tom has seemed to be catching on to all of the things that she has been doing. He heard her say, "I love you" to him while they were inside his house talking about leaving and get away. It may be that she will do most things to get what she wants from him. Tom is lacking impontence with his relationship.
 So far we have just been reading the book in class and taking notes, that we discuss through class after reading the chapters. I think the book so far is not interesting but it may get more intriguing. We have also been describing the changes that Daisy makes. Now that Daisy is trying to do something with someone else, you can tell how she can change for something. This is very ephemeral to her own.
  In Reno there was an air race that ended horribly in crashing into the audience and injuring lots of people that were watching. It went down and killed at least 10 people while injuring lots of people. It is a high speed racing event that if anything went wrong it could end in what happened a little while ago. The veteran pilot lost control of World War 2 era plane crashed, and sent shrapnel into crowds.
  There is many off and on calls about these races and so many hazards that can happen. This is an antithesis to most sports. There are so many rules that need to be used while the planes are in the air, but there are still many ways that something like this could happen. All of the events that people watch can be a safety issue for them, as debris and parts can fall into the stands.

  There aren't any impediments that can stop a plane from falling into the people. Only watching the race from where you are can be a hazard because anything in the race can take place where they are. The people in the event are also facing safety things that they need to see.
  This event was a day that people will remember in the air races.

Big League Chew

   In English we have made our own google account so we can use them for our writing and getting used to posting things like blogs. There has been lots of vocab words we have been using so we can add them to our writings. The book we have been reading is called The Great Gatsby which we had just started reading.
   Making a blog is nice to do since you can just talk about what is interesting to what is going on in English. There is the book we are reading that we have been reading in class that is different then other books, by the way the author wrote it. The thing that makes it different is the author describes the details that most wouldn't have used. The writing is very specific of how he writes when talking about something by using a litany of examples to describe a place. It is as if he is watching everything and has a similarity he can describe it with.
  We are always learning new words in class or getting a compremisable reason with the meanings of the word we are having to explain in our writing. Some people are ignoble of the idea of learning these words because they already know them. It is good to write them down and write some ideas of the word that helps you get a meaning.
  There's wildfires that have destroyed homes and areas in Texas. In Parched, Texas there's been lots of wildfires that have been deadly and creating many burnt houses. The Fire Department was trying to put it out, but was having a difficult time doing it how they wanted to. The fires had destroyed ten thousands of acres of drought areas.

  The biggest fire that happened was in Bastrop County which has destroyed 25,000 homes and caught acres of drought. There has been five-thousand people evacuated from there residing place, to make sure they would be away from fire. The fire caught ground of dry counties which was burning the houses that were close to the dangerous fire.
  It was the worst fire season in Texas, and it was the worst fire to the day regarding to the homes that were destroyed. It was bad for Texas, and for the people living in state.
